Mindfully take inventory of the sphere of life that you now find yourself in. Look past the surface and into the inward workings of the Holy Spirit in all of the situations of your life….
Remember, often the keys to advancement in life are found by being faithful in the present place where you find yourself…
Who is leading who? Shepherd or sheep?
1.) Become aware of what God is doing in you right here and now. This may require a perspective shift in order to see what He is doing. Sometimes we can find ourselves focusing on what we aren’t seeing vs looking deeper to what IS happening. Flip it around. This creates thanksgiving which brings perspective. List those things.
2.) Within the season of life that you find yourself right now, are there opportunities to grow and become established in His ways….in the truth? Sometimes what we feel as opposition in life is actually an opportunity to let our roots go deeper into the word of God so that His victorious life becomes our reality. This could be a transformation of our old nature, a shift in attitude, a perspective and posture of faith in place of fear, or even seeing a fallen forecast or diagnosis as an opportunity to be established in the victorious reality of the New Covenant and God’s word.
3.) Are there areas where you can engage what would cause forward progress in this immediate time?
4.) Are there things in your sphere that you are avoiding? Are there things which you are choosing not to look at? Sometimes advancement doesn’t come until we face what He is asking us to address.
5.) Overview of Priorities. What does it look like to seek the Kingdom first here and now? Am I involved in what He is building? Do I serve or look to be served?
